DON’T GO BACK TO SLEEP:
THE LOCKDOWN ALBUM
A concept album made with RashDash and Matt Randall in 2020 taking verbatim words from interviews with 18 people around the world talking about their experience of the initial lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fusing multiple different musical styles as well as sampled voices the album consists of 12 original songs and 12 ‘interludes’.
Performed live at HOME Manchester in September 2020, amidst venue shutdowns.
This track was a collaboration with Reuben Johnson and directly quotes politicians at the time.
The whole album can be heard on Spotify or other streaming platforms.
IN HER OWN WORDS
An audio piece about Elizabeth Siddal made at home in lockdown for the Oh Womxn! series. Commissioned by the Royal Exchange Theatre, 2021.
